More than 40 thousand people visited Altice Forum Braga to visit one of the most emblematic fairs in the agricultural sector in Portugal. 

This edition had 250 exhibitors and 450 agricultural machines in an additional 25,000 sqm of exhibition. Also noteworthy is the high adherence of visitors to the parallel activities that, between seminars and shows, joined 3.000 people. 

With a very heterogeneous audience, AGRO 2019 had the particularity of captivating the attention of many young people and schools. About a thousand students from pre-school, primary and vocational schools visited the fair, free of charge. 

The figures show that this is the largest fair in the agricultural sector in the north of the country and in Galicia. 

With the sponsorship of Caixa Geral de Depósitos, this edition of the fair presented a diversified program of conferences and seminars, with time for traditional contests that, in a total of ten, that engaged more than 500 animals and enabled the delivery of 60 trophies and money prizes. 

Zé Amaro, Festival of University of Minho Medicine Tuna and Daniel Pereira Cristo joined AGRO 2019 and took the stage of the Grand Auditorium for three shows of pure fun. 

Galicia Day was celebrated on March 29 with the presence of Fundación Semana Verde de Galicia and an official delegation chaired by Marisol Díaz Mouteira, delegate of the Government of Galicia. 

The event was also visited by several members of the Government, namely the Secretary of State for Agriculture and Food, Luís Medeiros Vieira, State Secretary for Justice, Anabela Pedroso, and the Secretary of State for Forestry and Rural Development, Miguel Freitas. 

Agro is also the only fair in the country to integrate Eurasco - European Federation of Agricultural Exhibitions and Show Organizers. AGRO is also part of the fairs accredited by UFI - The Global Association of the Exhibition Industry.
