Description
Gone with the Wind is a theatrical comedy starring Marina Mota, which takes place during awake in a square on the outskirts of Lisbon. The night goes by and an endless number of characters appear in that chapel that everyone, at least once in their lives, has seen in awake, live. Or dead, in this case.
When everything leads one to believe that this is just another wake like so many others, the unusual happens: Isabel, the newly widowed, is confronted by her husband, who appears in front of her with a bouquet of flowers. It turns out that it is not he who is in the coffin, but the guy who stole her car and all her possessions, including her clothes. The inside, too.
And behold, at that moment of the great and disturbing revelation, Isabel's big question arises: tell the whole truth or keep the life insurance money and pass her husband off as dead? For all intents and purposes, he is already veiled and everything.
This is the starting point for a frenetic comedy of deceit, with a great rhythm of characters coming and going, some of the mythical in the already vast career of actress Marina Mota, such as the charismatic Matilde, the irreverent Bisnaga and/or Usbatnavó, who will come to life again in this comedy that promises to make Portugal laugh on stages all over the country.
